Al-Abbos ibn al-Volid ibn Abdulmalik (arabcha: العباس بن الوليد) – Umaviylar shahzodasi va sarkardasi, xalifa al-Volid I ibn Abdulmalikning toʻngʻich oʻgʻli. VIII asr boshida boʻlib oʻtgan Vizantiya-arab urushlarida, ayniqsa, 707–708-yillarda Tyana qamalida harbiy boʻlinmaga boshchilik qilgan va shu jangdagi jasorati bilan boshqalardan ajralib turgan. Bu yurishlarda koʻpincha Abbos amakisi Maslama ibn Abdulmalikka hamrohlik qilgan.
Kelib chiqishi
[tahrir | manbasini tahrirlash]Al-Abbos Umaviylar xalifasi al-Volid I ning (h. 705–715) toʻngʻich oʻgʻli boʻlgan. Onasi ummu al-valad (qul kanizak) edi[1]. Dastlabki manbalarda uning kelib chiqishi haqidagi maʼlumotlar juda kam boʻlsa-da, ayrim maʼlumotlar uning nasroniylardan boʻlganligini koʻrsatadi[2]. Zamonaviy tarixchi Garth Fowden uni yunon millatiga mansub deya taʼkidlagan[3]. Al-Abbos raqiblari orasida koʻpincha Nastus ibn Nastus, yaʼni yunoncha Anastasius ismining arabcha shakli yoki ibn Qustantin (Konstantinning oʻgʻli) nomi bilan tanilgan[2]. Uning yoshlik yillari haqida juda kam narsa maʼlum boʻlib, arab va Vizantiya manbalarida koʻpincha uning faoliyati haqidagi maʼlumotlar bir-biriga zid keladi[4].
